On October 11, The Board of Education, DPS Leadership, and the students of Northeast Early College gathered together to celebrate the installation of a brand new solar array. The solar canopy project was a shared green initiative, led by DPS and funded by the City of Denver. The project provides the DPS High School, located in the Far Northeast, access to renewable solar energy. In addition to the satisfaction of being part of creating a more sustainable future, DPS families will now have access to renewable energy credits due to this program and will benefit from a reduction to their utility bills!
